Private Cabin Accommodations
At the end of your day of catching King Salmon or Halibut, you'll retreat to the comfort of your own private hideaway.
Hummingbird Island offers guest lodging in private waterfront fishing cabins. Each is easily accessible via the scenic, illuminated boardwalk that encircles the island.
Three of these modern Alaska fishing cabins have two bedrooms and two bathrooms. They are fully furnished, including plush chairs and sofas, new kitchenettes and a dining room table, comfy beds and cozy bedding.
Although these fishing cabins are virtually identical, each has a unique Alaskan identity. One cabin is named Edgecome as it offers views of a nearby famous dormant volcano called Mt. Edgecome. Another is named Clam Beach; at the right time of year one can dig 'em up under the deck. The third cabin is named Eagles Nest. A pair of eagles have been raising their young in their treetop nest for years.
One of the best things about these Alaska fishing cabins is that each has several large picture windows. All
three cabins are set right above the shoreline so the views are incredible. Step out onto your deck for a closer look. Whales, eagles and otters are a sample of the wildlife you might spot when enjoying a cocktail on your deck or while relaxing on the sofa and gazing out your picture windows.
In addition to the three original cabins listed above, Quest Alaska Lodges added
four new smaller cabins each with one bedroom/one bathroom in 2005. These
cabins are furnished with one king or queen bed, recliner, and a compact
refrigerator.
Our all-inclusive Alaska fishing package prices are based on four persons per boat.
